Population
Most would say Foxborough (or Foxboro) is a charming, aesthetically appealing, quiet town. Local sometimes refer to it as “the Gem of Norfolk County”. It’s a large town where roughly 1/ of the land is undeveloped, giving residents the suburbia and even rural feeling sometimes, despite the presence of Gillette Stadium, I-95, and Rt 1. Foxborough may be the most known for being the home of the New England Patriots NFL franchise, there are many other attraction in town too. Normandy Farms Campground, Xtreme Craze, The Comedy Scene, Mass Premier Courts, Ace Archers, Cheer Factor, Independent Sportsmen’s Club, and all the outdoor green-spaces to enjoy. Traditionally, Foxborough residents stay in their homes the same as the average homeowner. Some local athletes live in Foxborough.

Traffic most days isn’t much of a concern outside the towns 2 rotary intersections during the late afternoon/evenings. However, residents are wise to know the schedule of events at Gillette Stadium. Traffic before and after, to and from I-95 and I-495, along Rt 1 (where the traffic pattern is temporarily changed), and a few side roads is heavy. Some residents near the stadium earn extra income allowing visitors to park on their property during events.
The majority of dining and bars (and retail) is along Rt, around the town center, and especially near the stadium. There are more local vs national establishments in/around the town center and over near the herd of hotels by the Mansfield border.
